explorations at the gardens
Tara, Ellen (from
Shop Style Conquer) and I set out one Saturday morning and headed to Hamilton to attend the brunch club down there. I woke up at 630 (by the rain no less) and was pretty close to calling it quits when I heard the rain hammering down on my roof. Luckily by the time I left my house it had eased off and by the time we got to hamilton it turned out to be a fine day. That afternoon (after three coffees, brunch and exploring some cute parts of hamilton) we visited the hamilton gardens. AND IT WAS SO MAGICAL! Being winter a lot of the gardens were closed. So I can't wait to go see them when everything is open. Tara took some outfit photos for me so I'm going to share those soon but for today I wanted to share some snaps (taken on my phone) from that day.
photos taken on my iphone. Funnily enough I think I had some photos on the steps here for my aunty carol's wedding photos. Its funny going back to places you went as a kid. Because everything looks so much smaller.
My favourite garden was the Japanese one. It really did feel so peaceful and calming.
