I've been making Ella Grace Denton's Acai bowl a fair bit over the course of January and I wanted to share with ya the yumminess that it is! Acai is a super power fruit. It has a bunch of antioxidants in it and when you make an acai bowl its pretty delicious I tell ya! I've been eating it as a sweet treat but commonly its eaten for breakfast. Whatever floats yo boat!

Acai comes in a puree form thats then frozen. Making it perfect for a yummy icecreamy treat, particularly in summer. I get my Acai from Huckleberry Farms if you're curious! It can be a bit tricky to hunt down. Just a heads up though at Huckleberry its stored right by the Nice  Blocks so you're 100% sure to walk away with one of those too! (Feijoa is my fav flavour no duh).

What you'll need: 2 bananas / block of acai / handful of berries / splash of water / almonds & cashew / and other bits and bobs 

What to do: Chop up your fruit / blend / decorate / eat

Top tips:  use frozen banana for a better consistency and if your acai blocks are small use a few more. I ended up using three because mine were teeny!
