space cadet

Continuing with the 'I am a 9 year old boy' theme I have to tell you I like space. Outer space. So much so one of the things I brought from Topshop during their opening week (Topshop just came to NZ guys and it was insanity) was a Nasa tee shirt (#GEEK). In an alternate reality I'd totally be an astronaut (or a palaeontologist as we discovered last week). I mean I did do that one astronomy paper back in second year of uni so that makes me fully qualified right? Let's just pretend I'm doing something rad like interning at NASA and thats how I got this tee (psss you can get it here).


Aside from my obvious infatuation with this NASA tee I'm also loving these 70s inspired skirts. The 70s are coming back in a big way (have you seen Olivia's latest post?) and I've been swooning over these skirts after having seen Alexa's one, and Megan rocking them. They aren't in NZ yet. I went store to store and they aren't dropping till next month. And while I'm definitely buying some online I couldn't wait for the slow post and splurged on a Topshop one.

mellow yellow

I never used to like my hair being straight. But I kinda love it with this outfit. It looks like I'm a cartoon character particularly with this AWESOME yellow wall (can I have it please?). I have to admit I've worn this exact outfit three times in one week because i like it so much. It has free people vibes and I'm diggin it. The bag tho, its 100% not vegan but I'm willing to look over it because I think its cool. (which goes against all of my morals).

i believe in being strong

Its march. oh my god. Which means I'm back on the blogging bandwagon and to ease myself into things here is a bunch of images of something I wore (a fair few times). I like to call this my 'Britney is a librarian outfit'. But it was also inspired by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's. I tried to do her cool hair (but damn my hair is short). Also I think this is the first outfit post with my blonde hair OH HEEEEEEY.
